Setting Up Your Email |

All members of North Ontario United Methodist Church may obtain a your_name@noumc.com email address. The email can be accessed via www.noumc.com/webmail and then by logging in with your email address and the password provided to you. The mail can also be setup so if you use Outlook® or Outlook Express® your email program will simply remotely access your email account here and it will appear in your email program’s inbox. You may use this as your primary email address, or simply add it to the places your email program “looks” for email for you. To Set up your email: Outlook: From the “Tools” Menu, select “E-mail Accounts…” In the pop-up window, click on “Add new email account”. Click “Next”. On the Server Type dialogue box, select “POP3”, then click “Next”. Fill in the information for each box. For your name, use your name how you want it to appear to others. Your email address is the one provided to you by one of the Communications Team members. It will appear in the form your_name@noumc.com. Put the entire email address in the space. POP3: mail.noumc.com SMTP: mail.noumc.com In the Logon Information area, your user name is your full email address such as your_name@noumc.com. Your default password was also provided to you by a Communications Team member. Enter that password exactly how it was given to you.
